Kavadba and Elevated Story

The Story of Cuban Kavadba..

Kavadba all started as a result of a spring break trip of two good friends to the Bahamas in 2002 when owner Machi Block was a junior at Flathead High School, Kalispell, MT. As the duo tried longingly to convince more friends to join what would be a highly memorable and incredible spring break, with no avail, the phrase Cuban Kavadba was created. Cuban, because of the area of the Bahamas, and Kavadba.. a word that automatically flowed off the tongue following after Cuban, meaning having the best of times! The phrase was meant to represent the fact that they were going to go there and have the best time, no matter what, and that they were going to make the entire trip something that would always be remembered. The first sentence that the word was ever spoken in went something like this, “We’re going to go to the Bahamas and get some Cuban Kavadba!” Meaning to provoke some form of desire in the rest of the friends to set the busyness of life aside and join the trip, Machi instead uttered what has become an influential anthem word for extreme sports enthusiasts and the many multitudes who prefer to live their lives to the fullest with every opportunity, everywhere.
After the trip, the close group of friends at FHS listened to countless stories of excitement, adventure, discovery, and fun, and quickly became passionate about the saying, Cuban Kavadba, “Best of Times..” So Kavadba came to represent the best of times, living life to the fullest, always having fun, having a positive outlook, and having no regrets about things that we should have done. Shortly thereafter, Machi Block designed the first ever Cuban Kavadba tee-shirt. When numerous strangers began to walk up to him and compliment his shirt, freshly made, a spark was ignited within him to pursue the development of a line of products meant to inspire the multitudes to get out an live their lives with a positive effect on this life, and look good while doing it.
The phrase carried on, and so did the products, and in 2004, Cuban was dropped off of the brand name. This helped with some of the confusion about the “Why Cuban?” part of Cuban Kavadba, although it has a really nice ring to it. Kavadba really carries all of the meaning and passion though, so from that point on, the brand simply became, Kavadba Clothing. The original logo however, with a C like wave ready to engulf the letter K (with many more hidden aspects and deeper meaning to it left for the viewer to decipher) remains to this day, an ode to the beginnings of the brand, known and understood only by those who investigate enough into the brands to be In The Know!
Stand tall and wear Kavadba proudly, knowing that you support a good cause and have the backing of thousands of fans who strive to live life to it’s fullest extent in a positive and appropriate way, leaving each place better every time they touch it with their commanding presence of the good life!

The Lion:
The lion has always held a high place in heraldry as the emblem of heroic courage, a metaphor fitting that of a valiant warrior, or someone who is willing to do what is necessary and right, even in the face of adversity. It is thought to be a lively image of a royal soldier, one who must be valiant in courage, righteous in conduct, strong of body, fair in council and a foe to respect. The lion, with such an astounding reputation of its heraldic nature and having the position and title of king of the beasts, is naturally one of the most common heraldic symbols amongst nobility.
