09/28/11: Big Surf Rail Jam in Tempe, AZ
We know that being located in Los Angeles, CA and traveling over and over to Arizona over the summer is just a little crazy. But then again, where else are you going to find such awesome wakeboarding community, great riders, and great people in a short distance? We've got Canyon Lake and 1 or 2 other places in California, including the Delta up North, sure, but AZ just has that awesome, inviting personality that we've been lucky enough to take advantage of. And after all, it's only 5 hours for us to get to Phoenix.
So we've found ourselves traveling countless miles this summer to support the local Wake Scene throughout Arizona, and we're proud of the good friends and connections we've made. I'd like to announce Elevated Clothing's partnership with Circus Media Entertainment. We're working hard to promote each other and keep awesome events flowing that get the riders in on a grassroots level. So check out this next event at Big Surf in Tempe, Arizona. It's going to be an awesome day of skateboarding, surfing, and big air wakeboarding, taking full advantage of the ASU campus being located so close. We're going to make this an amazing event. Stay tuned, and please come check it our if you're anywhere near!

09/01/11: Ok Sorry Guys No Blog in a While
It's been a little over a month since we added anything to the website. Let me assure you that we're working extremely hard here to do some awesome stuff with Elevated and Kavadba. And man are we keeping busy at the moment. All of this being said, there's a lot to bring you up to speed on!
Quick Runthrough: We attended the U.S. Open of Surfing, Sponsored a ton of Wakeboarding Events, Ordered in new stickers and banners from Diecutstickers.com, made tons of sales, and are working on our new Fall release right now, which will no doubt be complete with a whole new website re-design. That's right, this website is going into the archives and we're unleashing a whole new level of steez on you punks. You'll be excited when you see it.
Alright, I want to show you fans 2 things.
1) Zach Block with Kavadba Ent. put together a super cool teaser video of our summer of fun, so I'm going to let you check that out and see for yourselves all of the coolness we've gotten ourselves tied up in rather than explain it to you. See Below!
2) This is a shoutout to our good friend Jon Brown who was a Rodeo Bull Fighter this summer. He ordered in a custom Jerzee and was awesome in letting us put our Elevated Clothing logo on it. I wanted you all to see Jon in action. He's a man amongst boys, a scholar amongst students, a powerhouse of awesomeness mixed with a.... well, you get the point... Many thanks to Jon Brown for his support, and furthermore, many thanks to all of you fans for your continued support of Kavadba and Elevated Clothing. We're stoked to be growing in a down economy and we are proud to have you all rocking our gear! Best of Times..

07/19/11: Japanese Fashion
So it's 12:25a.m. right now, I'm getting super tired but still sitting by my computer slurping down a cool glass of ice..... ok I'm back just had to go kick it with my brother Zach and Russ Whaley the famous Brit (Fathoms Deep, Spoils of War, One Man's Goal) for a sec... water.
I suppose it's a little unnecessary to be blogging this late, I should be getting a proper sleep tonight and starting my day fresh tomorrow, but oh well, gotta keep up the grind whenever possible. I'll finish my topic on Japanese Fashion, finish my ice water, have a couple of laughs with the guys, and pass out ready for work tomorrow.
So a couple of months ago I worked on a music video shoot with the band As I Am. That was my first time meeting them, now they're sponsored by us... check them out at http://www.asiamrock.com
The director/dp of the video and his assistant were Japanese, awesome guys might I add, and naturally we got into a conversation about Kavadba and Elevated, cause of course I'm going to plug it. Daizo Arima, the assistant, mentioned that one of his good friends used to do a lot of sales repping in Japan and had some connections + was looking at getting back into it. This obviously peaked my curiosity. I've been wanting to, and thinking about, breaking into the Japanese Fashion market for quite some time.
I asked if we could set up a meeting, but sadly, shortly thereafter, the tsunami and earthquake shook Japan, and that made trying to work anything out pointless. About two days ago, after talking with Daizo a little bit on facebook, I asked again about meeting up with his buddy. I got a quick response and Daizo had set us a meeting for Monday (today).
Stoked on the deal going down, Zach and I went to meet Daizo and his friend Masaki at Amsterdam Cafe in North Hollywood. We talked a lot about the brands, the clothing, the direction of the company, but most importantly about the lifestyle behind what we do. Because in reality, that is what Kavadba and Elevated are, the embodiment of pursuing your dreams and passions with everything that you have. If you want something, and it's a righteous cause, you go after it with your full heart engaged, and you strive to live up to your fullest potential in everything you do. What is Kavadba... it's living life for a purpose and pursuing it with love, determination, and hope.
Masaki made a really good point about blogging. He said, Japanese people are very inspired. If they see someone working hard, climbing the ranks, and pursuing their dreams, they rally behind that person. I think that really applies cross culturally. We all desire to see those underdogs win who have invested their whole heart and soul into their passion and are making a positive difference in life. I only hope that we can continuously have an impact through our company, through what Kavadba is, and what Elevated is. We live, we love, and we win.
Let's see where this whole thing goes. Masaki's cousin is the gateway, and he could very well be our gateway into hooking us up with sales in the Japanese culture. He's coming to LA this next week, and we've done our best to impress them all. So now we pray, and as we do, I'm continuing to work on our new releases that should be due out in about 2 or 3 weeks tops hopefully. Japan, we're coming for you!

07/12/11: Beaver Lake Wake Fest, AR
and Robert Absher of Absher Films
Elevated and Kavadba worked very closely the last few weeks with Brandon Hurst with Beaver Lake Wake Fest in AR. We really wanted to see things come together for them, and we pulled our weight as much as we could, getting them somewhat hooked up with Alliance Wake, Blast Wakeskate Magazine, and getting a few other companies in the mix. While we couldn't personally be there as the brand owners, we had some very cute chicks running a booth for us there, with Brandon overseeing the details. We sent down a few thousand dollars worth of product, and now we're still waiting to hear the final verdict on our success.
It's been a trip getting so involved in the wake scene this summer. We're really pushing hard, and making some great ground. Now we need to continue the momentum and lock down a couple of shops. We've got a great name built up and we're very proud to be where we are.
The AWA wake comps are still going strong at Lake Pleasant in AZ, and we have another big event coming up in mid August with INT League out of Northern Cali. Also, the Bullhead Regatta Wake The Plank event is happening and we're super stoked to see it pop off.
Robert Absher with Absher Films is killin' it for us in North Carolina, and Jes Ann Pelfry out of South Carolina with Windy Moose is pushing hard to keep us spreading there.
We love all of our fan support and are so thankful to have the people rocking us that are. Keep up the Good Life!

05/15/11: EXSIC (Extreme Sports Industry Connection)
- The New Model In Action Sports- Real Friendship
Paul Heil III over at EXSIC Europe wrote something really profound, and was so gracious to include us as his inspiration for it.
http://www.exsic.com/news-detail-10.html
A new business model No contracts, No money, No bull, just Real Friendships
After a simple friendly chat with Machi Block Owner, Kavadba and Elevated Clothing on the Wakeboard Community Group on Linkedin I have been inspired to start a new business model that cuts out all the bullshit and promotes real friendships and support in Action Sports!...
I recently got connected with Paul through a wakeboarding group on LinkedIN. He introduced himself with class, complimenting our site and designs, and then let me know that he was running a social networking site specifically for Action Sports.
He is also organizing a first of its kind Action Sports Conference that will bring the industry together and help motivate and progress the industry forward.
I was very intrigued by his business, EXSIC, and curious to know more about it. After a detailed description of how the EXSIC Conference in Europe can impact the industry and benefit a growing brand like our's, I was moved to support Paul and his ambitions. What a great thing he's doing, and it's obvious that he's a very personable, likeable guy with big aspirations. He's most definitely living out Kavadba in his own way, and inspiring people everywhere to do the same.

Here's a brief summation of what EXSIC has to offer, and make sure to check out their site:
The overall benefit on an up and coming US brand like yours cannot really be summed up for sure, but the main goal is to set up business relations and friendships that otherwise just would not happen.
You see we understand that connections mean everything, yet in this industry it can be tough to really find the right ones. And although I have made the EXSIC website a key element for Action Sports Social networking, nothing is better than face to face meetings. Actually meeting potential business partners and having a day of creative thoughts and ideas flowing can really lead to new and exciting innovations.
So if you are in general looking to establish your brand in Europe this might be the perfect opportunity to feel the waters out, see what regions might hold success for you, and build key friendships that could lead to future results.

05/09/11: Grindco Entertainment's H2X Extreme Watersports Event
May 20-21 in Las Vegas is bringing in some great excitment for Elevated and Kavadba. We're sponsoring a very high energy, high visibility event called H2X. It's the world's only indoor watersports show with a tank holding 500,000 gallons of water, plus some pretty hard core wakeboarders, stunt skiers, and jetskiers. We're an official sponsor of this event and are really hoping it turns up some good publicity for us as well as gets some stores onboard carrying Elevated Clothing and Kavadba Clothing. We've got some great new product that we'll be premiering for this event and it looks like it's going to be a blast! Come check it out in Las Vegas, NV May 20-21.
Watch the video here! (And Listen Up At The End For "Elevated Clothing")

We've also just placed an order for new banners and stickers from Diecutstickers.com
so check in soon to see our newest promo merch!

05/02/11: O.K. Wow, I've got a lot of updating to do!!
For some reason or another I haven't blogged in over a month... yep, I'm dissapointed too. Sorry Fans. But the good news is we have so much to discuss with you. I'll do my best to be brief and just give you the updates for now, so you can have the full story.
Osama Bin Laden is dead... Crazy!! Ok, got that out of the way. On to the next stuff.
Welcome to the family As I Am. More on these guys to come, but they're a band of great style and respectability with a legitimate rock vibe.
Check out Slapbak and also Olio, two great funk bands out of LA/Orange County area. Story below.
EverySpot! We started connecting with this company a few weeks ago and these guys are dope!! They hooked us up with advertising spots all accross their website at various surf and shred spots and they deserve a huge applause for the way they're connecting action sport lovers accross the globe! Make sure to check them out, sign up (using facebook if you like) and upload your favorite shred or surf spot to start getting connected with others in your area who share the same passion!
Alliance Wakeboard Magazine! We've been featured in Alliance Wakeboard Magazine's Goods section on their website. Thanks for the hook-up Rusty! We're looking forward to continuing and building on our relationship with Alliance and quite soon taking out print advertisment in their mag and online. Give these guys some love, they're holding it down for us in San Diego.
H2X Watersports Show in Las Vegas! We'll be there, sponsoring the show, making shirts for the show and selling our product! They're the world's only indoor watersports show, hitting up Las Vegas May 20th and 21st, many shows scheduled around the US, the UK, and Dubai on the radar. Check it out, it's gonna be amazing!
AWA, Arizona Wakeboarding Association! We're sponsoring all of their events this summer! Look out wake lovers, we're gonna be all up in your grills with our fresh steezy lovin' haha.
Beaver Lake Wakefest, an Event By The Riders and For The Riders!! Talking with these guys tomorrow about sponsoring their event in Arkansas this July.
LMFAO, we got hooked up by their tour manager to go see a show of their's in Orange County, showed up, got hooked up with tickets, were loving the event and then sadly had to leave cause one of our friends got sick. So we didn't get to see them or hang with them, but I'm sure this won't be the last you hear about them from us. Thanks Ian, and thanks Christopher "Skinny."
Look for us at Desert Rocks in Moab, coming May 27th. Stoked to be there and see all of our friends from PowellAPalooza.
What else... If you've made it this far... we're glad to have you as a fan for life ; )
Check out WindyMoose out of South Carolina! They're throwing it down for the wake and kiteboard community. We'll be doing some work with them soon, these guys are amazing, check them out and support them in their efforts.
Punk Rock Picnic was a lot of fun. Thanks to BMX Skate Show for letting us get on your ramp and show off our Kavadba. Thanks Khaos Industries for picking us up, we're very stoked to have you repping us. Thank you to all of our incredible girls who showed up to help us out, you were totally hott and you rocked the place for us!!
Tall Tees- coming to our site very soon. We're working with an really cool crew out of Park City, UT who we're making shirts with and they've turned out sick! More to come.
Kavadba and Elevated were invited to a concert a few weeks back to watch the band Slapbak play. These guys are pure funkolicious goodness!! Check them out, they're a really dope band, and I've never even been partial to funk music, but these guys cross genres and are awesome, let me tell you!! No seriously, let me tell you!! I got to the show and was hanging out with the band's manager (we're trying to get some stuff going between Elevated Clothing, Kavadba Clothing, and Slapbak) when she introduced me to the fly cats that are Slapbak. I'm pretty sure I caught a beat bug just meeting them, and when they got on stage that thing was full grown. I've rarely seen a band that can get a full room up and moving the way that Slapbak did. It may have had something to do with the fact that Michael Jackson's drummer sat in with them for a song or two, or maybe that Prince's drummer also made a special appearance and sat in as drummer for a song or two, but something tells me these guys do just fine on their own.
I also had the great privilege of meeting the band Olio! A group of fine gentlemen rockstars that are so fun to watch live I would go see them again in a heartbeat. These guys were an amazing show in and of themselves and I was pretty excited to have gotten to check them out.
03/31/11: Ordered Some New Banners from DieCutStickers.com
We've got some sick new banners on the way from diecutstickers.com that we'll be displaying at the O.C. Punk Rock Picnic. We're also getting a whole team of beautiful models on board to attend the event with us and help get the crowd involved. Stay Tuned!
We're doing more work with Cory Patterson Photography, photos to be up soon!
Elevated and Kavadba Tall Tees are coming out soon. We're working with Team Paradise out of Park City, Utah to get some more promotion going in the snow communities.
If any of you fans are producing content, videos, photos, etc and want to work with us, hit us up so we can hear from you and start spreading your stuff.
If you know of any shops in your areas looking for new brands, let us know so we can meet with them and get Elevated Clothing and Kavadba Clothing Spreading!!
We need to hear from our Fans!! What do you want to see different with our company? How are our Prices? How are our designs, what do you want more of and less of? We want to be driven by you, our fans!!
Upcoming Fashion Shows!! We're working with TIGRESS to get some fashion shows going in Arizona. We've got one April 10th, and another May 15th.

02/24/11: Uniforms for Colossal Gelato
Here's a brief video we made for Colossal Gelato, the San Luis Obispo based Gelato company. These guys are awesome. Their company motto is "Working to Give, Living to Server." They're an amazing Godly company that's main concern goes beyond making a profit to rather what they do with their profit; how they can give it away, how they can serve and make a difference, and how they can best serve Christ with all that they do and all that they are. We need more businesses like this that can think outside of themselves and exist for the Lord's work rather than just their own. If you remember back to our Kavadba Summer Road Trip we met up with surfer Matt Holguin (owner of Colossal Gelato) in SLO and had one of our favorite stops with him and his brothers. We just finished a large order of aprons, tees, and hoodies. Check the video below
We also just got in brand new stickers from Die Cut Stickers. You'll get a sneak peak in the video but we'll have a full updated post on that soon. Check out diecutstickers.com Also a very special thank you to Zachary Block of Kavadba Entertainment for cutting together our videos and making our awesome introduction.
02/16/11: RIP R.C.
We just finished making some awesome shirts for Chad Green one of our sponsored skiers. He had a buddy die and him and his friends asked us to make some shirts in remembrance of him. They sent us over a really cool design and we threw this little video together to show you all what's up. Check it out! Thanks for letting us be a part of this process guys, we're honored and send you all our prayers and condolences.

And if you guys didn't hear, we ran into a photographer named Sandy O'Neal on our Kavadba Summer Road Trip. We were on Dauphin Island, AL and taking the fairy to Florida. She saw our van and wanted to take some pictures of us all, so here's a link to her work, she is very talented and an extremely kind lady. Here's what she wrote about us:
Today, I continued my journey of photographing the Gulf Coast in the wake of the BP Oil Spill. My journey today started in the western most part of Alabama. I was traveling along the coast taking photos along the way. I decided to take the Mobile Bay Ferry from Dauphin Island to Ft. Morgan. And parked beside me on the ferry was a van pulling a trailer with this writing on the side: One Van, Five Guys, 15,000 miles, the Adventure of a Lifetime, The Kavadba Road Trip 2010. So while I was on the ferry ride across Mobile Bay, I chatted with the guys in the van. I discovered that they were from Montana and they were on a 15,000 mile road trip around the United States promoting a clothing line that they had started, {Kavadba and Elevated Clothing} They were a great group of guys having the time of their life. They believe in living the life that God gave them to the fullest. They graciously allowed me to take these photos when we arrived in Ft. Morgan, Alabama. They are really an inspiring group of young men. Check out their website: http://www.kavadba.com They are filming their journey along the way and are posting updates of the road trip on their website. Check it out!
Thank you guys for letting me snap these photos! I wish you well on your life's journey.
Check out the pictures she took - here: Sandy O'Neal Photography
09/06/10: Kavadba and Elevated Clothing to make an appearance at INT League Wakeboarding Competition at the Delta in Nor Cal.

Here's what's up:
- With Kavadba and Elevated starting a branch of the company in California within the next month, we were looking for Extreme Sports Events to get involved with in the area. We found INT League, an amateur wakesports competition which has events all over the country. Their final event before the Championships in Florida is in the Delta in Nor Cal, Sept. 11, 2010. We got in touch with them, told the director about our company, and requested the permission to sell and promote our products at their event. They were more than willing to let us, and requested that we provide some prize give-aways for the event, which we are excited to provide.
Regretfully, we won't be able to attend this event in person due to some time conflicts, but Kavadba and Elevated will have some incredible products to throw out at the event. So look for our presence there, check out our products online, and make sure to have a great time at the last INT Wakeboarding Event this year before the championships.

Look for Kavadba and Elevated Clothing at an event near you!
08/31/10: Kavadba Entertainment Site Launch
It's a simple beginning, but we're building a website for Kavadba Entertainment! For the past year or so Zach Block has been working on a few fun short films, music videos, our Road Trip teaser videos, etc... and now he is wrapping up his first feature length film, Fathom's Deep. It's a comical yet thrilling look inside the life of two partners in crime, Hicks and Cash. They're mere puppets in a twisted lineup of crime lords and "not quite so right in the head" villains, doing their best to stay afloat as they have fallen victim to a deal gone bad. They now have to wait out the storm with less than appealing safety man, Pox, while opposing crime boss Big Lou has them hunted down.
Will they make it out just in time, or is there even a way out? There's no such thing as Good Guys.

06/21/10: Coming Changes To The Website
In the coming weeks there will be some big changes taking place on our products section. Because we, the Kavadba Team, the producers of the products, will be heading out on a 6-week tour of the U.S. to spread the brands and messages of Kavadba and Elevated Clothing, we have to take a few of the products off the website while we're away. We'll have a very large supply of many of our old designs and a lot of new designs with us, and those products will be up on the website during the time we are gone. So if you notices that one of your favorite products dissapeared that you were hoping to buy that day, don't worry, just relax and wait until we're back from the Kavadba Summer Road Trip and it'll go back up. Our trip will be from July 5th until the middle of August. If you haven't heard about it yet, check it out at www.kavadba.com/roadtrip.
